The Avenue of a Baobabs (or Allée des Baobabs) is a distinguished organisation of baobab trees backing a mud highway between Morondava and Belon’i Tsiribihina in western Madagascar. Its distinguished landscape draws travellers from around a world, creation it one of a many visited locations in a region.

Baobab trees, adult to 800 years old, famous locally as renala (Malagasy for “mother of a forest”), are a bequest of a unenlightened pleasant forests that once thrived on Madagascar. The trees did not creatively building in siege over a sere landscape of dumpy though stood in unenlightened forest. Over a years, as a country’s race grew, a forests were privileged for agriculture, withdrawal usually a baobab trees, that a locals recorded as most in honour as for their value as a food source and building material.
