Taipei, strictly famous as Taipei City, is a collateral of Taiwan (officially famous as a Republic of China, “ROC”). Formerly famous as Taipeh-fu during a Qing epoch and Taihoku underneath Japanese rule, Taipei became a collateral of Taiwan Province as partial of a Republic of China in 1945 and has been a collateral of a ROC given 1949, when a Kuomintang mislaid a mainland to a Communists in a Chinese Civil War.

Taipei is home to several world-famous architectural or informative landmarks such as Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Dalongdong Baoan Temple, Hsing Tian Kong, Lungshan Temple of Manka, National Palace Museum, Presidential Office Building, Taipei Guest House, Ximending, and several night markets dispersing over a city. Its healthy facilities such as Maokong, Yangmingshan, and prohibited springs are also good famous to general visitors.
