Inside a intemperate private bar for New York City’s artistic elite

There are few things some-more disdainful than a private club. 

After years of operative within a members-only club stage in London, Alan Linn saw a space in a marketplace for a bar that catered privately to New York City’s abounding artistic community.

In 2007 he came to a US and non-stop Norwood, a now-bustling five-story bar with some-more than 1,000 members trimming from 21 to 80 years old. Its ranks include architects, conform designers, musicians, media moguls, and art collectors.

Linn’s number-one tip for creation it through a preference routine is simple: “Be curious.”

We talked to Linn about a story of Norwood, and what it’s like to be a partial of one of New York’s tip artistic communities.
